The Mission of the Adams County Conservation District is to serve and assist the citizens of Adams County by promoting the maintenance, improvement, and sustainable use of land, water, and other related natural resources at the local level; to offer technical, financial, and educational assistance to landowners in cooperation with local, state, and federal agencies; and to provide sound conservation and natural resources management assistance to Adams County.
Our Vision is to be recognized, respected, and trusted as a conservation leader. To enable the people of Adams County to sustain, use, and conserve our natural resources through the 21st century is primary, thus maintaining a balance and harmony between a profitable agricultural economy and other land uses for quality of life that everyone can enjoy.
As professionals, we shall achieve community satisfaction by providing technical excellence, a positive attitude, consistency, and good judgment in program administration. We shall cooperate with our partners to achieve quality, well-managed resources. These are our values.
