County of Adams

The Adams County Law Library is intended as a legal research facility for the use of the Adams County Court of Common Pleas, County officials, County attorneys and the general public. The focus of the collection is Pennsylvania law.

The Adams County Law Library houses a legal reference collection primarily for the use of the Common Pleas Judges and local attorneys. The Library is publicly funded and also supported by the Adams County Bar Association. The Library is required to contain the opinions authored by the Adams County Court and all ordinances of local municipalities and townships. The collection also includes the Pennsylvania Statutes, Pennsylvania Code, and Court Rules. An online subscription to the Westlaw legal database expands the collection beyond the printed material housed in the Library. The Adams County Law Library is a non-circulating collection.
